A journey that in less than 15 minutes on foot will lead you to Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria and the Duomo, passing by Forte Belvedere. It will lead you to the beautiful Church of San Miniato al Monte passing by Piazzale Michelangelo, from which you can admire one of the most enchanting and fascinating views of Florence crossed by its River Arno. |

Around the Villa you can find several historical buildings as the forced residence of Galileo Galilei (Villa il Gioiello), The Church of San Leonardo in Arcetri, The Convent of San Matteo, the astrophysics Observatory of Arcetri and the Villa where Francesco Guicciardini died. Another very important monument is Torre del Gallo which was part of a real castle belonged to the family Gallo, from which the name derives. This building will host the museum of Astronomy dedicated to Galileo Galilei.

How to get to Villa I Giullari
From Motorway:
- Motorway A1 Exit Firenze Certosa.
- Follow the street direction to the centre of Florence and then to Piazzale Michelangelo, taking Viale dei Colli.
- Turn right at the street indication Pian dei Giullari-Arcetri-Santa Margherita a Montici.
- Continue as far as Via Pian dei Giullari number 21.
